Katharina Hering is a Digital Project Librarian at the German Historical Institute, where she supports the redevelopment of German History in Documents and Images, and an adjunct at the Department of History & Art History at George Mason University, where she teaches an undergraduate course in digital history with a focus on digital literacy. She holds a PhD in history from George Mason University and a MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh. Recent publications include a review of Adam Crymble’s Technology and the Historian.
