Pim Huijnen

Pim Huijnen works as an assistant professor in digital cultural history at Utrecht University. His research focuses on the use of digital text analysis to investigate conceptual history and the circulation of knowledge, as well as on the reflection of datafication and digitization for historical scholarship. Some of his recent publications are ‘Something Happened to the Future: Reconstructing Temporalities in Dutch Parliamentary Debate, 1814–2018’, Contributions to the History of Concepts, 16(2), 52-82 (2021, together with Joris van Eijnatten) and ‘Digital History and the Study of Modernity’, International Journal for History, Culture and Modernity, 7 (2019).
